The MOVEit data breach has affected millions of people and most affected organizations are offering help and guidance to the victims. While many organizations are still investigating the impact of the breach, some have started reaching out to the affected people. Many have posted updates on their websites and suggested taking protective measures like asking their users to ask for a free credit report from the three credit reporting agencies, freeze credit, check their bank and credit card accounts regularly and update important passwords.

Compiled list of organizations who have provided updates

While all businesses would be contacting affected people, we are putting together a list of organizations and their data breach response on their websites and if they are offering free credit monitoring and identity recovery services. As we know, hundreds of organizations have been impacted. So This list is not complete and only includes some organizations who have responded on their websites.

Free monitoring services are not automatic

We encourage affected individuals to be proactive and reach out to affected organizations, follow up on any communication from the organization and activate the free resources provided. The free credit monitoring is not automatic and the person needs to sign up. We know that many individuals ignore the letters, forget to sign up or procrastinate and these offers expire. Please act immediately.
